Hedonism is in the east – a new campaign of the Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board

first_imgAfter a phenomenal campaign and concept #HeadOnEast as part of the Day of Croatian Tourism in Slavonia, the Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board continues in the same tone with a new campaign called Hedonism is in the east!! using the well-known hashtags #HeadOnEastCroatia #VisitSlavonijaBaranja. The main actors of the campaign are people who offer tourist experiences in eastern Croatia, but also live them themselves every day. The goal of the campaign, in cooperation with local tourism workers, is to invite everyone to tour the east of Croatia and additionally position itself on the market, because we know that continental and rural tourism will be especially in demand this year. Vladimir Škrobo-Bajo invites guests to Čvarak fest in Baranja and explains why black Slavonian pig greaves are not black, Tomislav Žajdlik from the State Stud Farm Đakovo shows what a privilege it is to do a job that includes petting a Lipizzaner foal, and tourist blogger Mario Jukić reveals the beauty of river beaches Danube and Drava. A special experience of living in harmony with nature was presented by the famous photographer Mario Romulić, who discovered his new passion in the production of home-made food and the harmony that green space offers. All of them call for the discovery of the true hedonism offered by Slavonia and Baranja. It is known that Slavonians and Baranja give guests the most valuable gifts – a sincere smile and a warm welcome. While some adhere to the status quo and this crisis has given them such a great excuse, because there is no money, yet some tourist boards have jumped out and shown that it only takes a little will and effort. These videos did not require a budget, as they were recorded by the participants themselves, but it required a proactive reaction from the Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board to present them with the concept and idea, and invite them to get involved. And so, with zero kuna, a new “guerrilla” campaign was created. Of course, it is necessary to have the trust of the local profession and the credibility that is built over the years, through communication and all other projects. 7 ambassadors of the east center_img “The hosts here become and remain friends. In return, guests very quickly begin to “divan” about local flavors, aromas and colors, about the charmingly slowed down rhythm of each individual pleasure, about the amazing combination of traditional and modern. Therefore, the path under your feet, the direction to the east of Croatia to meet hedonism”Point out the Tourist Board of Osijek-Baranja County. A total of seven films have been made, which will be promoted via social media. Thus, through self-directed videos / films, “ambassadors” of destinations such as Tomica Đukić, chef of Hotel Osijek and the Croatian national football team, world-class gymnast Robert Seligman or employees of the Kopački rit Nature Park, present how they spend their time visiting guests again. Hedonism is in the east. During the standstill of tourist, catering and other economic activities due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board designed a campaign called SLAVONIJA-20, in which the main actors are people who offer tourist experiences in eastern Croatia, but also they themselves live every day. Also, it’s great that the #HeadOnEast concept remains permanent, and which of course will only be upgraded, as is this campaign. Check out all seven short films at #HeadOnEastlast_img read more
