Harvard responds to tragedy in New Haven

first_imgWe are all saddened by the tragic death this morning before the Harvard-Yale football game.  Our thoughts are with the victim and her family and friends.We also express our sympathy and concern for the two other people who were injured, one of whom is a staff member at Harvard’s Division of Continuing Education (DCE).  Our DCE colleague was treated at and released from a hospital in New Haven earlier this afternoon.  To protect her privacy, we are not releasing her name at this time.last_img

Lady Bulldogs Fall Short Against Lady Wildcats In Middle School Volleyball

first_imgThe 7th Grade Volleyball team lost to Franklin County: 25-18 and 25-15. Their record is now 2-3.Courtesy of Bulldogs Coach Megan Werner.The 8th Grade Volleyball team had a sluggish start against Franklin County & fought their way back, but fell 25-21.  In the second game the Bulldogs started strong and had a lead, but then lost the lead to end the game 25-22.Top servers were Brayleigh Patterson and Shelby Westerfeld with 9 points each.  Jade Kopp anad Rhian Mehlbauer each had 2 service points.  At the net Jade Kopp and Sydnee Schaeffer each had 2 kills.  Sophie Lee and Shelby Westerfeld each earned a kill.Their record is now 3-2.Courtesy of Bulldogs Coach Angie Ehrman.last_img
