All proceeds from this event will go to support the countywide spay/neuter program, the feral cat program, education program and families in need program. So we need and appreciate the support of our community.”The winner of the Pet Photo Contest will be featured on the cover of the humane society’s 2014 Pet Photo Calendar. In addition to the cover winner, there will be a winner for each month and each week of the year. More than… read more Book Nook to reopen “The selection of a winner will be by the number of votes from owners, families and friends voting for their pet’s favorite photo,” Howard said. “You can vote as many times as you like by donating one dollar per vote to the Humane Society of Pike County and all donations are tax deductible.”Voting may be done by mail or at various specified locations within the county.
